President Barb Thomas reminded everyone there is a Membership brainstorming Zoom meeting coming up. If you are interested in participating or want further information, please contact her directly.  President Thomas also shared the results from the member survey about meeting in-person.  Results showed 55% of Rotarians who responded were moderately to very uncomfortable to the idea of in-person meetings. Virtual meetings will continue through August. Finally, President Thomas challenged everyone to continue to support our community, even during this time of being isolated during the COVID-19 epidemic. Please consider donating to the Ronald McDonald House here https://rmhc-eiwi.org/donate-2/adopt-a-house/ or through the CommUnity donation page here https://builtbycommunity.org/donate/.

Rtn. LaDonna Wicklund shared information on the “I Can Read Songs Literacy Project” with approximately 1,000 copies distributed annually.  Our monetary donation is $1,000 and the downtown Club contributes $130. The gap between the $3,000 needed is made up through the Literacy Champion parties. Consider joining this committee if you have a passion for literacy.
