PROGRAM:
Haley Rosendahl introduced Coe faculty Katie Rodgers and Gina Hausknecht who described details of the Justice Learning Initiative they developed.  Using a combination of community outreach public events and in situ classes at Anamosa State prison, the program’s goal is to ease parolee and ex-convict reentry into society upon release.  Reduced recidivism for all causes (i.e., procedural parole infractions and re-offends) will reduce the societal costs of incarceration while hopefully improving the post-prison lives of convicted felons.

Visiting Rotarians and Guests: Nada

The meeting ended with the recitation of The Four-Way Test.

Program: Haley Rosendahl; Attendance: Nancy Droll.
