Rtn. John Culshaw received the District 6000 Guardians of Integrity from District 6000 and Tara was able to present it to John at our meeting.

Rtn Ashlee Hopkins announced that Wednesday, May 1 there will be a Dine Out day where a portion of the proceeds from Hudson’s (482 Highway 1 West) will be donated to Rotary’s Youth Leadership Programs. You can eat there or get a meal to go.
Rtn. Ryan Bell displayed the award from the Iowa Urban Tree Council. Each of the area clubs, including our own, was awarded with this award that recognizes our combined effort to plant more trees in our community. We rock!
Rtn. John Culshaw made an announcement on behalf of the Common Futures Committee (formerly the DEI Committee), which works to make Rotary more welcoming. Our club will participate in the Pride Parade on June 15 and the committee needs a pickup and driver for the Pride Parade (and we’d like to decorate your truck). In addition, John encouraged members who might be interested to reach out to him to participate in the work of the committee. The group meets quarterly, and they would appreciate any and all help.
Verne Folkman, chair of the Foundation Committee, presented a certificate and pin to Rtn. Andre Perry for becoming a Paul Harris Fellow.
